Bruno Eugene Wallenius

Bruno Eugene Wallenius passed away at his residence, Riverview Hogarth Manor in Thunder Bay on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at the age of 87. After several weeks of declining health, Bruno died peacefully with his wife Josie by his side.

Bruno was born on February 21st, 1934 in Port Arthur.

He lived most of his live in the Municipality of Neebing where he founded Wallbros Logging Co with his brothers Hans and Wayne.

Bruno was a kind and gentle man, respected by his neighbours and loved dearly by his close and extended family.

Bruno is survived by his wife Josie; Step children Johanna Bevan (Rich), Mathew Bevan (Carol), Robert Bevan, Derek West (Linda) and Peter West (Betty Ann); Sisters Alice Neudorf and Ilona Foss; Sisters in Law Marie Ann Wallenius and Susan Wallenius.

Bruno is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews

Bruno was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Joan; brothers Hans and Wayne; sister Sally Bullough; in-laws Larry Brown, Reg Bullough, Arthur Neudorf and nephews Michael Neudorf and Randy Brown.

In accordance with Bruno's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Bruno’ s family wish to extend their thanks for the compassionate and loving care of the former staff of Dawson Court and the staff of Bluebell floor at Riverview Hogarth Manor.
