Burton William Porter

Mr. Burton William Porter, age 90 years of Thunder Bay, Ontario, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 after a brief illness.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lena Grace Porter and Kenneth William Porter. Burton is survived by his three children, Bert Porter, Linda Tremblay (Greg) and Karen Miller (Mitch) as well as his brother Fred Porter (Gale).

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:30am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. For those unable to attend, a video recording of the service will be available on the Everest of Thunder Bay website beginning Friday afternoon.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff on 4 North (Hospice Unit) of St. Joseph's Hospital who cared for Burton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Burton to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.
