Mrs. Carol McLeod, age 65 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Care Group with loving family at her side on Friday, February 20, 2015.  Carol was born in Port Arthur on June 18, 1949 to Allan and Mae Bostrom and was a lifetime resident.

She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the L.P.H., P.A. General Hospital and at the Port Arthur Clinic from where she retired.  Carol enjoyed cooking amazing meals for family and friends, having a good laugh, traveling, bird-watching, and shopping.

Her greatest love was her family and she was happiest when spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.  Their interests were her interests.  She was a loving and generous soul, who's door was always open.

She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughters; Lindsay (Corby Richmond) McLeod, Leslee (C.J.) Davies and Lauri (Joel) Sinkins; grandchildren: Lyrik, Mason, Grayson, Weston, Cohen and Charlotte; sisters Judy (Doug) Hurley, Brenda (Bruce) Wing, and youngest sister "daughter" Candace Bostrom; brothers Ray (Marg) and Ron Bostrom as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She was predeceased by her husband James, brother Rick Bostrom and her parents.

A Celebration of the Life of Carol McLeod will be held on Sunday March 1st, 2015 from 1 to 4 pm at the Foundry.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's Hospice or http://www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca/ and find 'Carol McLeod', it would be greatly appreciated.  Arrangements are in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street.

On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
