Carol Young

Hi, I am Carol Young and have chosen to write my own announcement.

I always like to keep things simple and this is me keeping it simple. I leave behind my loving husband, Robert with whom I have shared 38 years together; two beautiful, inside and out, daughters Monique (Niel); Andrea and partner Tyler. Three absolutely, fabulously wonderful grandchildren, Jadyn, Tiandra and Kash.
I also leave behind my sister Fernande and two brothers Fern, Rejean and many nephews and nieces and my beautiful goddaughter Tami. Special thanks to Cal my nephew for being there for me with just a phone call away. I am thankful for my life careers that allowed me to meet and keep dear to my heart unwavering friends.

Well as Willie Nelson would say “On the road again “. Heading on a new journey.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Razak and the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital; Donald, Linda, Pierre and all of the other staff at CCAC who took such amazing care of our loved one.

Funeral services for Carol will take place on Wednesday May 10, 2017 at 11:00am in the Harbourview Funeral Centre Chapel, 499 North Cumberland Street. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory can be made to the Community Care Access Centre’s Palliative Care Group.
