Mrs. Caroline McMinn, age 95 years, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospice on September 11, 2018.
Caroline was born April 22, 1923, in Brandon Manitoba. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for a period of time, but spent most of her time at home taking care of her family. Caroline was a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Branch 5 Legion, and a member of Lakeview Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening.
Caroline is survived by her daughters Carol, Pat and Shirley, 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert McMinn, her son Robert, and her grandchildren Damien, Karen and James and sons-in-Law Keith and Libero.
A celebration of Caroline’s life will take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Rev. Susan Mattinson of Lakeview Presbyterian Church, with Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens to follow reception. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caroline’s memory to the charity of your choice.
