Catherine (Kay) Elizabeth Armitage (nee Gurney) passed away at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on July 4, 2017 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Merrit Armitage, four sisters and one brother.
Kay is survived by her children Kathy (Brian) Purdy, Merrill (Lino) Demasi, Diane Wickman and Miles (Lesley) Armitage, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, sisters Grace Wilkins and Carol (Fred) Wilkins and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the doctors and nurses on 3B who cared for mom.
As per mom's request there will be no service. A private interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the charity of your choice may be made in mom's name.
