Mrs. Celia Collin (nee Tergie), age 86 years, passed away peacefully after a short illness in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Monday, January 26, 2015.

Celia was born on February 8, 1928 at home in Hurkett, Ontario. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, but was a dedicated homemaker. Celia enjoyed knitting, quilting, crafts and gardening. Her greatest passion was fishing and she wouldn't quit until at least one fish had been caught. Celia also had a love for animals, especially her poodles. Celia was a gentle, kind woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Celia will be missed her sister Elizabeth Villeneuve of Hamilton and brother George (Fay) Tergie as well as her step children, several nieces, nephews and other relatives . She was predeceased by her first husband, Walter Jackson and second husband William Collin; parents Anna and Bill Tergie and sisters Gram Audet and Ida Hilliard.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Celia Collin will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, officiated by Venerable Archdeacon Deborah Kraft. Interment will take place at a later date in Mountainview Cemetery.
