It is with profound sorrow that the family of Charles “Charlie” Thomas Kerry Tough announces his unexpected death on Monday, June 19, 2017.
Charlie had an intensity and passion for life that infected all who crossed his path. When Charlie arrived, he always brought a smile and a greeting and was the life of the party. Charlie has left a huge void our lives but, also, left us with numerous great memories. Charlie was employed in the security sector and was a member of United Steelworkers, Local 5481.
He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in the study of Nursing and Psychology and hoped to work in healthcare.
Charlie is survived by his parents, Tom Tough (Donna) and Trudy McKinnon (Herb Daniher), his sister, Georgina, brother Taylor, step-siblings, Derek, Charlene and Jarrett, as well as, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service in remembrance of Charlie will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 4-7 pm at the Da Vinci Centre, 340 Waterloo St S. Words of remembrance will be spoken at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
