Christie Cooke

Christie Dawn Cooke, aged 25 years, passed away suddenly at the TBRHSC on October 17, 2017.

She was born on July 5, 1992. Christie worked in the service industry and was one semester away from obtaining her diploma from Confederation College in Developmental Social Work.

She loved the outdoors, camping, swimming, fishing, bowling, skiing and her new found passions, gardening and decorating. Christie was a kind, compassionate and caring person who loved to spend time with her family and close friends whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her parents Shelley and Paul Cooke; grandmother Mayadelle Wilmot; grandfather Stanley Cooke; aunt Gini, uncle Jay, Kipp (cousin), Kasey (cousin) Irwin; aunt Judy and uncle Daryn, Katelyne (cousin), Codi (cousin) Gowanlock and Giuseppe Sirignano (boyfriend). Predeceased by her grandfather Charlie Wilmot and grandmother Shirley Cooke.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thunder Bay Humane Society would be appreciated.
