Clara Pumphrey, age 92 passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Easter Sunday April 4,2010 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Clara was born on December 27,1917 in Armstrong, Ont. She enjoyed visiting with her family and spending time at her camp on Lake Superior. Clara loved to dance and throughout the years acquired many bowling trophies. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1212.
Clara is survived by her son George (Lillian) Hrudie ,daughter Elizabeth (Gerald) Morris, grandchildren Terri-Lynn Morris, Bryan Morris, great grandchildren Tallon and Terran Morris, niece Alice Nachuk, Diane Bodnar , cousin Marilyn Korzonoski and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and by her first husband John Hrudie and second husband Ed Pumphrey, sister Dona Stanchuk and Dorothy Prokopetz.
Private graveside service will be held at a later date with Rev. Luigi Filippini of St. Andrew's R.C Church to officiate per Clara's wishes. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke would be greatly appreciated.
