It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Parsons, aged 92, on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Holy Cross Villa. 

Cliff was born on May 30, 1926 in Orkney, Saskatchewan to Stanley and Hazel Parsons and the family moved to Conmee, Ontario in 1929. Cliff married Lois Walker on June 10, 1961.

Cliff was a dedicated husband, father and friend. He started to work at Mahons Electric at the age of 16 and remained employed for 38 years. He was a member of Local 402 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, retiring in 1992. Cliff served in the Armed Forces from 1945 to 1946. He enjoyed family, friends, fishing and sports.

Cliff is survived by his nieces and nephew, Donalda (Bill) Hunt, Stanley (Linda) Mercure, Darlene (Rob) Mayo and Barbara (Mike) Inman as well as grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews and a great-great grandnephew. He was predeceased by his wife Lois and their sons Darryl and David; parents Stanley and Hazel; sister Ruby Mercure and nephew Brian.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the residents of Holy Cross Villa for their friendship and kindness.

A Memorial for Cliff will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm in the Common Room of Holy Cross Villa, 411 Frontenac Bay. Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to George Jeffrey Children's Centre or a charity of choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
