Clive Brown, age 79, died December 4th, 2018 at the TBRHSC, heeding our Saviour’s call to his heavenly home. Born April 20, 1939, in Emo, moved to Current River at a very early age, where he grew up & met the love of his life, Bev. They married in 1963. Clive worked at Provincial Papers for 34 years, retiring at age 57. Devoted member of Epiphany Lutheran Church for 56 years. His favorite holidays were the 3 winters he & Bev sailed in the Bahamas with Pat & Harold on their sailboat. Clive especially cherished the several years, he & Bev daily enjoyed time with their Tbay grandkids. He was a passionate outdoorsman, enjoying hunting & fishing at every opportunity.

He is survived by his loving wife Bev, and his 3 daughters & their families; Mary Ann & Mike Lambert & their sons Mitchell & Derek. Penny & Greg Kok & their children Adam & Paige (Mike). Lisa Presley & her children, Amanda, Rachel, Ryan & Olivia and Lisa’s 7 grandchildren. Siblings Ed (Donalda), Betty Vella, Pat (Harold) Peacock, Jean St. Germain, Wayne (Carol). Also survived by his lifelong friend Darcy Hagberg, who kept a vigil during Clive’s 10 days in hospital. Numerous nieces, nephews & cousins also survive him. Predeceased by his parents Ivan & Anna Brown & in laws Ray & Ilmi Laine. Clive’s family would like to thank Dr.’s Faghih & Bezanson for all they did for Clive; the nurses in the Chemotherapy Unit, for their excellent care, and a special thank you to nurses Kyle, Shelby & Natalie in 2A for their compassion for Clive’s comfort in his final days.

Clive’s funeral will be held Monday, December 10th at 11am at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 499 Dewe Ave. Visitation is offered on Sunday December 9 from 7-9pm at Epiphany Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund or Epiphany Lutheran Church.
