The family of Colin Tucker regretfully announces his passing on September 16, 2018 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre at the age of 53 years old with his loved ones by his side.

Colin was born April 1, 1965 in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and was raised in Sudbury, Ontario until the age of 16 when his family moved to Longlac, Ontario. Longlac became home and is where he remained and built his life around his family and friends.

Colin had a true passion for construction and built a successful career in the construction trade. He prided himself on his skill and the quality of his craftsmanship. He enjoyed his weekends at home with his family tinkering around the house or watching Nascar and Football with his loyal dog Teddy by his side.

Colin had a captivating way about him that charmed all who were blessed enough to meet him. His charisma, big heart and friendly smile were the foundation of who he was. 

Colin sadly leaves behind the love of his life; Jacinthe Viel-Tucker, his two beautiful daughter’s; Alanna Tucker (Jordan) and Desiree Belisle (Jamie) and two precious grandchildren; Talia and Maddox DePascali. Also left to mourn his passing are his parents Loretta and Kirk Haggart and Ford and Christine Tucker, his brother Chris Tucker (Kathy), his sisters; Cathy Owca (Dave), Cindy Wright (Chuck), as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored. Colin was predeceased by his brother Calvin Tucker and his sister Connie Brescia. 

A celebration of Colin’s life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pavois Culturel at Ecole Secondaire Chateau-Jeunesse, 167 Centennial Promenade in Longlac, ON. 

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Colin’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
