Ms. Concettina (Connie) Maria Lipsa (nee Notte) age 57 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 with family by her side.
Connie attended Northwood High School and enjoyed working in various restaurants as a cook. She loved cooking, crocheting, reading and looking after her pets, Snoopy and Socks. Connie looked forward to the company of others and visits from her family for movies and ice cream. She will always be remembered for her personality, wit and sense of humor.
Thank you to the Hagi staff, as well as the nurses, doctors, and support workers who cared for Connie during the past few years, and the assistance of the emergency staff at TBRHSC.
Connie is survived by numerous relatives in Thunder Bay and Italy. Predeceased by her parents Carmine and Beatrice Notte, brother Emilio Notte, grandparents Antonio and Adelina Vacca, Emilio and Catarina Notte.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral at 11:00 a.m., celebrated by Rev Msgr. P.M. Stilla . Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Prayers will be offered Monday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire, memorials to the M.S. Society would be appreciated.
