It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Conrad Borg.
He was born and raised in Nipigon, Ontario, where he spent his life. He was a wonderful dad and the best papa ever. He enjoyed spending time and money with his wife, Rachelle, at the casino. He loved his daily scratch tickets, morning coffee with Marc, fishing and hunting with Connor, and blueberry picking and chatting with friends.
What he enjoyed most was being with his grandchildren. He was a very proud papa.
He worked for the Department of Highways for many years, then the Nipigon Plywood Mill until his retirement.
Predeceased by his parents Florence and Ole, siblings Lorraine, Ragnar, Loretta, Randy, Darcy, and Christina, daughter-in-law Shayla, and his best buddies Paul benny and Perkins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rachelle, his children Michelle (Allan), Dan (Ashley), Marc (Kathy), and Judy. Grandchildren Steven, Madi, Brady, Connor, Thomas, Kelsey, Shania, Jacqueline (Jeff), Amber (Pat), Mother Tammy, Stephanie, and Malinda, and 17 great-grandchildren. Siblings George, Bobby, Regina, Geraldine, Eulalia, sister-in-law Rose, and numerous other in-laws and family members also survive.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Fund.
