Daisy Ritch

Ms. Daisy Mary Ritch, age 76 years, passed away peacefully in the Thunder Bay Regional Transitional Care Unit on Saturday, October 30, 2021 with family by her side.

Daisy was born in Aroland, Ontario on July 9, 1945 to Samuel and Agnes Shabogamik. She loved working with her hands to complete crafts as well as knitting, crocheting and sewing. At a young age, she became very good at making her own clothing. Daisy also enjoyed baking and cooking, spoiling everyone she knew with delicious treats. She especially looked forward to holiday celebrations with family and friends. Daisy will be deeply missed by all.

Daisy is survived by her children Brenda, Sally (Patrick), Barry (Vicki), Jennifer (Craig) and Florence (Angelo) as well as her many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry (Sarah), Jack and Casey (Wilma) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives.

She was predeceased by her parents as well as her beloved son Larry and several siblings.

A private family service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021. For those who wish to view, a live stream will be available with details available on Facebook. A video recording of the service will be available on the Everest of Thunder Bay website beginning on Friday.
