It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Darlene Dundas on October 28, 2024, but not without a courageous battle with cancer.

Darlene faced her cancer diagnosis in October 2021 with unwavering courage, grace and dignity. She transformed a 6 month prognosis into 36 months.

Darlene was an open book, with a whimsical personality. She had a passion for volunteer work with the women shelters, organizing the annual walk for cancer, and most recently, fostering dogs looking for their forever homes.

Darlene will be dearly missed by her only daughter, Meagan (Kevin) Hunkin, siblings, Mike Goldrick, Rick (Linda) Goldrick, Tracy Baillie, nieces and nephews, Kayla (Dennis) Montgomery, Shane Goldrick, Kelsey (Jerrid) Goldrick, along with special mention of her best friend for a lifetime, Tanis Wilson who was thought of always more as a sister than a best friend.

Special thank you to Dr. Probazanski for almost 3 decades of general practitioner care, and always being an ear to listen, along with specialized care to Dr. Chan, and Dr. Simpson.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Darlene's Life will be held next Summer. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal shelter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
