David George Baran, aged 73 years, of Thunder Bay passed away suddenly on May 30, 2017.
Dave was a friend to all, always connecting with everyone he met. He grew up in Thunder Bay, spent summers at Dease Street pool and attended Lakehead University. He spent a number of years teaching children. He worked at Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Care Group in an occupational therapy role until his retirement in 2009.
He will be missed dearly by his wife Naomi; daughters Nicole and Melanie (Will); grandson Aiden; sister Florence; brother Russell and many extended family and friends.
All are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception in Celebration of Dave’s life which will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3200 Oliver Road. Reception to follow. Donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Dave.
