Mr. David Desmoulin “Makade Ma’iingan” age 68 years, passed away peacefully in the company of loving family in the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Friday, June 23, 2023.
David was born in Pic River, Ontario on November 27, 1954, the son of Thomas and Adele Desmoulin. He loved sports, especially watching his nephews play hockey. David always made himself available to his beautiful nieces to provide whatever guidance, advice, or assistance they might need. He loved his fishing, taking beautiful photos, walking the beach, or riding his quad while capturing those precious scenery pics. David enjoyed chatting and having coffee with many of his friends that he had met throughout his life.
David’s greatest passion in life was his family and he was dedicated to taking care of them as well as his extended families when needed. He was the devoted husband of his beautiful wife Carol of 46 years, loving father of his children: David, Edward, and Marie Desmoulin; proud grandfather of his beautiful granddaughters Kaneisha, Kayci, Aleigha, Tyran, Zoee, Channing and Nation: proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews and was the number one fan to Bailey. David is also survived by his sisters Irene, Lina and Doris.
He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Adele Desmoulin; sisters Bertha and Geraldine; brothers Kenneth, Howard, Harry, Basil, the twins, Frank and Joe.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Community Hall. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sargentandson.com.
