David Seguyn
It is with great sadness that the family of David (Meseen) Seguyn, age 60, of Thunder Bay announces his passing on June 4, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospice following a brief battle with cancer. David will be missed as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend. He is predeceased by his parents, Lena Seguin and Real Seguin, Sr. and best bud and brother Real Seguin, Jr. He is survived by his children Candace, Dave Jr., Amber and their families; brothers Winston (Nicole), Gary (Karin), Paul (Julie), Mark (Donna) and Robert “Sam” (Joanne); sisters Lillian (Bill), Patricia and Pauline and numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.

David was most happy when he was surrounded by family, always smiling, laughing and that twinkle in his eye would brighten any room. He loved the spontaneous fishing trips, family barbeques and the many laughs from the pranks he would pull. David was a strong man who lived life to its fullest and never feared anything, he saw the good in every situation. He will be forever loved and always missed.

As per David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private ceremony at a later date. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for David on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Westfort Prosvita Society, 721 West Gore Street, in Westfort from 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
