Dawn Marie Winters Strehlow

It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Dawn Marie Winters Strehlow on May 5th 2021 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Dawn Marie was born November 30th 1983 to her parents Kammy Shaw (Roy) and Donald Winters.

As a young child Dawn Marie was full of life and adventure. She loved nature, camping, swimming, animals, reading, drawing, singing, dancing, music and she was blessed with an amazing imagination.

As she grew into a beautiful young woman her adventures grew into becoming a loving and devoted mother to Camryn (17), Alice-Raine Johanna (10), Emmalee Dawn (7) and a dedicated wife to the love of her life Rick Strehlow.

Dawn Marie has a heart of gold and a beautiful soul to match. Her love and compassion for others is amazing, she would help anyone that needed it even if it meant she had less for herself.

As well as being a wonderful mother Dawn found time to read, paint, crochet, take classes, do house repairs, enjoy nature, cuddle her fur babies, woodworking, beading and gardening.

Dawn Marie is survived by her parents Kammy Shaw (Larry) & Donald Winters (Jackie), Grandmother Lorraine Roy, Aunty Ivanna Crockett (Chris), Husband Rick Strehlow, her loving children Camryn Winters, Alice Raine, Emmalee Dawn, In-Laws Carol & Len Strehlow, brother-in-law Chris (Jackie), brother Adam Winters, sisters Rebecca Zajac, Dawn Lemieux, Amanda Shipston, sister/cousin Nikki Caldwell, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, aunts, uncles and her closest friend Kata Lahti.

A small service has taken place at the Jenkens Funeral Home with her family. Burial will follow at a later date.

Dawn would want people to celebrate her life in their own way so perhaps in the future we can get together and celebrate her in the fashion she deserves.
