It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Debbie Barnes on October 6, 2018 at her home. Debbie was born November 5, 1957 in Fort William, Ontario. She will always be remembered for having a soft heart and kind soul who loved a good laugh with a cup of tea. Debbie was a devoted mother of her only daughter Shera Marie whom she loved dearly and always spoke of with good stories and humour.
Debbie is survived by her daughter Shera; her beloved mother Bernadette; brothers Raymond (Holly), Rory (Shirley) and Roy Jr.; sisters Renee Wrightsell (Alan), Lu-Anne Sebesta and Lori Phillips (Stephen). Debbie was the youngest of 7 siblings. Also leaving behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Debbie was predeceased by her father Roy Barnes.
As per Debbie’s wishes no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.
