It is with great sadness that the family of Deborah Sohlman announce her passing on June 14, 2017 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre.
Debbie was born on January 30, 1955 in Port Arthur. She attended Cornwall and Gron Morgan schools. On October 9, 1976 she married Edwin Sohlman, the love of her life. They were inseparable; you never saw one without the other. They enjoyed many years of camping and fishing at Cushing Lake Resort at Lac Des Mille Lac.
Debbie is survived by her two brothers Wayne (Patricia) and Chris Osmar; three sisters Cindy (Al) Jamik, Patricia (Earl) Hartlin and Laura Osmar; father-in-law Walter Sohlman, brother-in-law Wayne (Margit) Sohlman and sister-in-law Lory Perger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Debbie was predeceased by her husband, Ed in October 2015; parents Harold and Helen Osmar; mother-in-law Irene Sohlman and brother-in-law Rob Perger.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Debbie will be held on Monday, June 19th, 2017 at the Oliver Road Rec Centre from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations in Debbie’s memory may be made to the TBRHSC - Renal Unit.
