It is with heavy hearts that we announce Deryl James Green passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday January 14, 2024. Deryl was born on June 5, 1949 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Deryl enjoyed playing many sports including golf, baseball / fast-pitch, curling. He also enjoyed fishing with his friends on their annual houseboat trip, family vacations and watching his children play in their various sporting activities. In recent years, he adored his grandchildren and loved to be present and interacting with them doing anything their little hearts desired.
Deryl will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 48 years; Donna, his children; Kim (Brent) Iserhoff and Kevin (Stefanie) Green, his grandchildren; Lainey and Jase Iserhoff, Emma and Mia Green and his siblings; Diane Cronk, Glenda (Rick) Bodnar, Fred Green, Marvin (Christie) Green, Heather Green, Brad (Marney) Green, his brother in laws; Brian (Tracey) Kushner and Doug (Kelly) Kushner along with numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Doris and Bert Green; his sister, Tracey; mother and father in law, Dorothy and Joseph Kushner, and his brother in law, Jim Cronk.
The family would like to thank the staff of 3 South - Hogarth Riverview Manor for the care and compassion they provided to Deryl throughout his entire stay at Hogarth. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
