Domenico Foresta
With profound sadness the family of Domenico “Dominic” Foresta announces his unexpected passing on July 5, 2020 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Born in Grimaldi, Italy on September 14, 1950 to Ada and Vincenzo Foresta, Dominic immigrated to Canada in 1956 along with his parents and sisters. He worked many years as a cement finisher, pipe liner, bouncer and lastly a landlord and cattle hauler. Dominic was a hobby farmer for many years and horse racer, loving the sport like no other. From the time he was young to the time of his passing, he had a love for all breeds of pigeons.

Dominic will sadly be missed by his children: Tricia (Dave) Taggart, Vincent, Dominic Jr (Andrea), Angie (Sean) Main, Timothy Boulanger and Chad Virtue; along with his grandchildren: Kevin (Karli) Foekens, Kyle (Cassidy) Foekens, Shaleena Foekens (DJ), Austin (Jaedyn), Kallen, Brady Main, Kayler, Taylor Main, Alexis, Caysen and his great grandsons Izzak, Stetsin Foekens.

He also leaves behind the mother of his four children Pat Foresta; his siblings: Lina Colla, Emma (Giovanni) Bossio and John Foresta. Dominic is also survived by his aunts: Ada Fidalic and Vanda Bossio and numerous nieces and nephews.
