Donald Carson

With broken hearts, our family announces the passing of our Dear Brother, Donald Wade Carson on February 11, 2023.

Donald was born on May 17, 1961 to Melvin and Dema (Manary) Carson in Fort William, Ontario, residing most of his years on Rosslyn Road and Pearson Township.

Donald was a quiet, gentle soul. He loved animals and they loved him equally. He adored his Siamese cats, having many over his life. Donald was very religious and attended Slate River Baptist Church for many years.

Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Dema, brothers Gary, niece Jennifer Carson and nephew Tad Carson. Donald is survived by his brother David, Kevin and Craig as well as sisters Bev (Jim Zweep) and Vickie (Richard Curtis), nieces Cara Pylvainen (Alan, and their children, Chris, Erik and Alyssa), Meghan Roy-Gaudette (Shaun and their children, Kaylee, Breanna and Brinley), Cassandra Curtis-Bogensberger (Aaron and their children, Bryce and Grace), Kayla Curtis (and children, Brandon Smithers, Garrett Horvath, Katilynn Larsen), and his nephews, Jaret Carson, Jeff Zweep, Michael Carson, Brendon Roy, Clayton Carson (Natalie and their children, Kyla, Quinn and Chloe), Devon Carson, Mitchell Curtis, Nathan and Ciaran Carson.

Cremation has taken place and funeral services were held at Slate River Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Rob Cain. Interment will be held at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
