Donald Coaster

It is with great sadness the family of Donald Coaster announces his unexpected passing on March 3, 2021 in Thunder Bay, ON.

Donald was born on January 25, 1942 in Ogoki, Ontario to Alice & Matthew Coaster.

Donald loved hunting, fishing & trapping, he was a great outdoors man, who enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hunting & fishing guide in his younger years. Donald worked for the CN Rail in Nakina and went on to be a carpenter for many years in Marten Falls, he was also a pioneer in the mining industry in the Ring of Fire.

Donald will be greatly missed by his wife Emelda; his daughters Dorothy (Gerald), Barbara, Nancy & Teresa; his son David (Rebecca); his sisters Evelyn, Lydia & Annie, brother-in-law Sylvester, his nieces and nephews, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Alice & Matthew Coaster, his sons Murray, Darren, Ernie & Ronnie Coaster; his granddaughter Nicole Munroe, his grandson Kevin Munroe.

Visitation for Donald will be held in Thunder Bay, Ontario at Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday March 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Marten Falls First Nation, at The High Hills Cemetery, on Saturday March 13, 2021.
