Donna Guerard

On the afternoon of March 15, after a courageous battle with cancer and with her loving family by her side, Donna passed peacefully. She joins her beloved son Terry, her sister Ruth, brothers Mel and David, parents Alma and Rickard Johnson and god parents Ellen and Kai Koivukoski. She will also reunite with the cherished members of the Guerard family.

Donna will be forever loved and missed by the love of her life, her husband of 51 years, Ricky with whom she fell in love with when she was 15 years old, her caring daughters Tammy Holmes (Ron) and Tina (Rich). As a very special grandmother, she supported her grandsons Matthew Holmes, Troy and Curtis Anderson and Brayden Tonkin in all of their endeavors and was enthusiastic for all of their accomplishments.

Donna was an amazingly strong, caring, smart, and loving woman, wife, mother and friend. Her influence and love touched many lives including in-laws George Bates and family, her cousin and dear friend Kim, the Hartviksens and many cherished friends.

The family gives thanks to Doctors Simpson and Faghih for their exceptional care and compassion. Donna's faith and the church were and important part of her life, so please join family and friends at 11:00 am at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, corner of River and Farrand Streets on Thursday, March 22, 2018 for a service.
