Donna is survived by her loving husband, Finn Andersen, her daughter & best friend Cathleen Armstrong (Kyle and daughter Kiana), grandchildren Jayme and Matthew whom she adored, loved and cherished beyond words (their dad, Dean), her beloved son Peter Hardy (Cheryl), step daughter Kirsten Maki (Ken) & grandchildren Annika & Heidi. Donna leaves behind two sisters Betty-June Cooper (Gary) and Sheila Hardy as well as many other loved ones. Donna was predeceased by her parents June and Gordon Kissick and her late husband Peter Hardy.
Donna was born May 4, 1948. She worked her entire career at Lakehead University where she made lifelong friendships.
Donna was loved beyond words. Her family was her life. Her love, her touch, her words were indescribable. She was truly an angel on earth. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. She was so proud of them. She had a bond like no other.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held on Monday, October 15 at 11:00am at Redwood Park Church, 2609 Redwood Avenue E. A luncheon will follow the service.
