Mrs. Doreen Winters age 63 years, a resident of Thunder Bay/Nolalu, passed away in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Doreen loved to talk on the phone to friends and family, crafts and knitting. She enjoyed cooking and having friends over for dinner.
Doreen grew up in Nolalu and attended Selkirk High School. She worked many jobs from Bonanza to the Airlane and tree farm.
Lovingly remembered by son Donald Adam Winters, her granddaughters Dominic and Danielle Winters and mother Irene Blomfeldt (Kuster), brother Byron (Sandy) Blomfeldt, nieces Janie & Amanda Blomfeldt and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by father Gordon Blomfeldt and brother Gary Blomfeldt, A Private Memorial Visitation will be held at the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire, memorials to a charity of your choice can be dropped off at Blake Funeral Chapel.
