It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Dorothy Gunsinger age 78, with her daughter and family at her side on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at TBRHSC.
Dorothy was born and raised in Noranda, Quebec February 15, 1944. Later marrying her soulmate Leonard in 1963 and moving to Thunder Bay in 1972.
When not spending time with her family and pets, Dorothy would also be found spending her time trying her luck at the casino! One thing is for sure, no matter where Dorothy went, she always took pride in making sure her hair was done!
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by daughter Kerry (Mark), son Doug (Cherie), grandsons Colin (Brooke), Dylan (Rachel), Ryan, Kyle, Chase and great grandmother to Ava and Kai.
Dorothy is predeceased and now reunited with husband Len, daughter Lorraine, parents Earl, Sybil and brother Don.
Cremation has taken place.
Dorothy along with her husband Len, will be laid to rest with her beloved parents in Mountain View Cemetery at a later date and a private gathering will be held at that time.
