Mrs. Dorothy Medovits, age 84 years, passed away peacefully in Dawson Court on Thursday April 2nd, 2015.
Dorothy was born on February 27th, 1931 in London, England within the sound of the Bow-Bells. She grew up there and later married Josef Medovits on December 15th, 1951. In 1963 they immigrated to Canada.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Josef, her children; Ann (Renato) Copetti, Pamela (Bert Allison) Hald, Linda (Charles) Upton, and Dennis (Flordeles) Medovits, her grandchildren; Andrianno & Danyle Copetti, Kristian & Michael (Megan) Hald, Charles Jr. (Suzanna) & Clinton (Savannah) Upton, and Katrina (Ricky Fraser) and Melinda Medovits, her 18 great grandchildren and her sister Ella Marten in England. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
She was predeceased by her parents, her 6 siblings and by her granddaughter-in-law Leisa Hald.
Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday April 9th, 2015 in the Chapel of the HARBOURVIEW FUNERAL CENTRE, 499 North Cumberland Street. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for family and friends will be offered one hour prior to service time. If anyone so desires, donations may be made to a local charity of your choice.
