Mr. Douglas Goodman, age 83 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with family by his side.

Doug was born on July 6, 1932 in Fort William, Ontario to William and Clara Goodman. He retired from Thunder Bay Telephone after 40 years of service. He spent many hours coaching Pee Wee hockey which gave him great pleasure. He also spent many years camping at Cedar Sites Resort.

Doug is survived by his children Jo-anne (Rick), Kathy (Darryl), Leah (Greig), Leslie (Rob), Paul (Laura), Mark; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, special lady friend Ida Adams, one sister Norma Tuokko.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Anne and infant daugher and grandson Noah, parents and seven sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. Douglas Goodman on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, officiated by Msgr. P. M. Stilla, V. G. A private family interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-4pm in the Westfort Chapel.
