On July 1st, 2024, at the age of 53, Duane was suddenly called home to continue in a world beyond the stars. He was greeted by his loving parents, who had passed on before him with loving arms, as well as numerous family members and loving friends awaiting his arrival! To have known Duane and be a part of his life will be cherished by many from all over the place. Wherever he went he always made new friends because of his outgoing and bubbly personality. Wherever he went, it was guaranteed to be a good time because that is what he knew and loved …. Fun! He worked hard all his life and could never sit still he was always fixing or building something. Whatever it was, you could find him in the garage with a cold beer in his hand and a smile on his face. He loved his family with every part of himself and did whatever he had to, to provide us with a happy life. He was always someone you could count on to be there if you needed help and took pride in being that type of friend. He also took pride in having the skills and knowledge to build and fix pretty much everything from houses to cars. Most would seek Duane's advice when they were having an issue and not working properly and the statement "If Duane Can't Fix It or Figure It Out Then It's F**cked!" He took immense pride in and was proud to be That Guy! He was also proud to be a Papa to his First-Born Grandson, Justipher, who he had an amazing future full of plans and adventures they were going to experience, and Duane could not wait to teach him new things, both good and "Be Bad" as he would say jokingly. Shyloe, his daughter, and Dillon, Duane's son have many memories with their dad over the years. Duane loved to talk about all the fun times he shared with both of them throughout the years and he loved to be THAT DAD who was always joking and laughing with his kids every chance he had. He was Proud to Be called Dad.
Duane would always say how excited he was to watch his grandson grow up and become his own person as well as watching his baby to continue to grow and be the amazing mother, as she was proving to be! He had great plans for a bright future and to live it to the fullest. To travel the world and visit new places with the one who held his heart and who he shared life with for the past 10 years, Melina. Duane loved her with all his soul and adored everything about her. They were never afraid to express their love for each other. He would describe them as being soulmates and were going spend forever together.
