The family of Duy Le announce his unexpected passing on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at age 21 years. He attended St. Pius and Bishop E.Q. Jennings Schools and St. Ignatius High School. He was presently entering his 4th year in the Honours Sciences Program, Biology, at Lakehead University.
Duy was loved by all those that he met and he touched many lives with his unconditional love. He was truly a ray of sunshine that could bring a smile to anyone’s face. Duy loved hiking, the outdoors, his family, his friends and life. He was employed with the family business “The Woking Bird”.
Duy is survived by his parents Binh and Lien, sister Tami, brother Thao as well as by his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 when family and friends will gather in Corpus Christi R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass beginning at 9:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Victor DeGagne.
Visitation for friends will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street where the Vigil Service will begin at 7 p.m. The interment will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
