Ed Daniel Nobis

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our brother, uncle, godfather, and friend. Edsel enjoyed doing many things, spending time with family, being out on the land, and volunteering his time with our community annual PowWow. Edsel was the community’s firekeeper almost since the beginning of our annual community PowWow. He volunteered his time whenever he was needed. He treeplanted every year and always made sure he spoiled everyone else. He also enjoyed gathering medicines and blueberry picking and spending time with his “fans” his nieces and nephews. He followed the PowWow trail and made life long friends wherever he went.

Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Violet. Siblings Myra, Ramona, Andre, Anthony, Gregory, Adolph, and Sylvia.

Survived by his siblings Simonne Wynne, Ray, Joceline, Majorie LaDuke, James LaDuke, and Sam Chapman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many good friends, his godson Roland Singleton Jr and his favorite niece Evrie Thompson.
