On Monday, April 11, 2016 with her daughter by her side, Edna Gosselin (nee Flatt) passed away peacefully.
Edna was born January 6, 1933 in Port Arthur and she spent most of her life in Current River. Edna enjoyed attending bingos, going to Whitefish Lake, and she loved knitting, sewing, baking, and styling hair for fun. Edna was a resident of Hogarth Riverview Manor for the last few years of her life where she made many connections with staff and residents. Edna loved making others laugh and goofing around to see smiles on their faces.
Edna was predeceased by her brothers Donnie and Alan, and sisters Pat and Muriel. Edna will be missed by her daughter Debbie, son Raymond (Joanne), brother Bruce (Ann), sisters Kay Engdahl (B.C.), and Barb, and by her grandchildren Stacie and Dan Jedruch, who in their younger years were her pride and joy to spend time with, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hogarth Riverview Manor; they made Edna feel comfortable and at home through the last years of her life.
In accordance with Edna's wishes there will not be a service open to the public.
