Edward Grant (Ted) Burrows passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Ed was born July 29, 1951 in Windsor, Ontario to Joan and Grant Burrows. He is survived by his wife Nancy; son Mike (Lauren) Burrows; daughter Jennifer (Brent) Richards; stepson Matthew Madigan; four grandchildren Katlyn and Brody Richards and Mackayla and Mackenzie Burrows; his beloved dog Brandy; father Grant Burrows Kenora, Ontario; Pam (Joe) Massotti Winnipeg, Manitoba; Brenda (Bob) Allan Keewatin Ontario; David (Judy) Burrows Trenton, Ontario. Also survived by Nancy’s family Janice (Bill) Dickerson, Kevin (Lorraine) Tozer and Noeline Tozer. He was predeceased by his mother Joan and Nancy’s parents Jean and Orville Tozer.

Ted worked at Abitibi Provincial and Thunder Bay Mills as a safety coordinator until their closure. He then worked at Brinks Thunder Bay as a guard messenger and driver. He made many friends there with Bill, John and Jerry being his closest friends.

Ted was a very outgoing man who enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed hunting with his children Mike and Jennifer, John Poster and Clint Venn.

Being out in the bush around a roaring campfire and cooking at Moose camp was really enjoyable for him. He was affectionately known to all as the “Hollywood Hunter” often cruising the roads in his Jeep TJ with the windows out looking for tracks. His health declined in years past forcing retirement. As per his wishes there will be no service. A private family internment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

If friends so wish, memorial donations can be made to the RFDA, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
