It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Edward (Ted) John Kushnier following a courageous battle with cancer. Edward passed on the 5th of May, 2017 with his wife and sons by his side, two days after their 59th wedding anniversary. Edward, affectionately known as “Gigi”, was the best husband, father and grandfather one could hope for. He is survived by wife Jan, sons; Rob and Mark (Roxane), grandchildren; Rebekah, Lexi, Parker, Branden and Sophie, sisters; Linda (Cosmo) Costa, Rosemarie (Ivan) Rabideau, brothers; Frank (Rita) & Stan (Elenor). Edward was predeceased by his parents Peter & Frances as well as in-laws Michael & Jennie Olenski.
As per Edward’s wishes there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place with interment to occur privately at a later date. Should friends wish to do so, donations to the TBRHSC Northern Cancer Research Fund would be greatly appreciated.
