With sadness the family of Edward Lacosse announces his passing on June 5, 2025 at Atikokan General Hospital with his sisters and brother by his side.
Edward was born on January 16, 1943 in Dryden, Ontario. He came to Atikokan in 2005 where he enjoyed riding his scooter around exploring the town and surrounding area. Edward also enjoyed his woodworking projects.
He will be missed by his sisters and brother, nieces and nephews.
Edward was predeceased by his parents Ethel & Leo Lacosse, brother Leonard and sister Shirley Genik.
A private family ceremony will take place at a later date in Sioux Lookout where Edward will be buried with his parents.
Donations in Edward's memory can be made to the Atikokan General Hospital Extended Care Wing.
