Mr. Edward Louis David Marsh, age 98 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Bethammi Nursing Home.
Ed was born on October 2, 1917 in Port Arthur, Ontario and resided here his whole life. He worked for many years as a Millwright until retirement in 1979. Ed was a long time member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church.
Ed is survived by his stepson, Brian Marchand; granddaughters Cheryl (Gordon) Ellis, Leanne Marchand (Rob) and Rhonda (Jon) Watts and great-grandchildren Devin, Austin, Brooklyn, Valkyrie and Gwendolyn. He is also survived by his brothers Melbourne and Warner as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; sisters Vernis, Jean, Kathleen and Edith and brothers Arthur, Roy and Gerald.
Funeral Services for the late Mr. Edward Marsh will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:30AM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
