Reverend Edward (Ted Sr.) Moyle passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice with his family at his side on Monday, November 16th 2015.

He was 77 years of age.  He was born in Rouyn-Noranda to Evelyn and Herbert Moyle.  Much of his life was spent serving others as a clergy in the  Anglican church.

Ted Sr.  had a heart for the less fortunate and was often found feeding those in need or finding ‘odd jobs’ to help someone ‘earn’ some money to live on.  Ted Sr. had fond memories of his time as a pastor at St. Luke’s Anglican church from 1979  to 1987.  Ted was an avid gardener and hobbyist.  He is survived by his good friend Mike, his children Ted Jr. (Fran) and Cynthia (Jason) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to express their Thanks to the care team at St. Joseph’s hospice unit for going above and beyond to care both physically and emotionally for Ted Sr. and family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10:00am when family and friends will gather for services in St. Luke’s Anglican Church ( corner of Cameron and McKenzie Streets). Memorials to St. Joseph’s Foundation (Hospice Unit) or Camp Gitchigomee c/o St. Luke’s Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements in care of the Blake Funeral Chapel.

Reverend Edward “Ted” Moyle Sr. will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
