Mr. Eero Leinonen, age 90 years, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2016, in Hogarth-Riverview Manor.
Eero will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Jari (Esa, Kirsti, Kai and Ruby); daughter Aila (Bruce, Madison and Meaghan); daughter-in-law Muriel (Tim, Kellie, Jason, Harri Jr., Karla, Tyrone, Blake and Olivia); son-in-law Bart (Raakel, Ryan, Kia-Lee, Reggie, Nicole and Grace); siblings in Finland (Lea, Anssi and Tuula).
Eero was predeceased by his wife Hilkka; son Harri; daughter Saila; daughter-in-law Eija.
Funeral Services for Eero will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hilldale Lutheran Church, 321 Hilldale Road, presided by Rev. Jari Lahtinen.
Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be held at a later date.
If friends so desire, donations may be made in Eero’s memory to Hilldale Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer Society.
