Elizabeth Naef

Mrs. Elizabeth Naef, age 87 years passed peacefully on June 25th 2021 at Roseview Manor with family by her side.

Elizabeth was born November 30th 1933 in Port Arthur, Ontario. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and then Zellers County Fair. She loved spending time at camp on Lake Shebandowan with family and friends, as well as travelling and enjoying cruises. Her favourite was the Alaskan Cruise. Elizabeth enjoyed being outdoors gardening, walking or just enjoying the day. She was always there for her children and family. Her mind may have been gone but her heart was always there.

Elizabeth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Paul Jr., Sharon (Bill), Catherine (Neil), Karen (Robert) and John: grandchildren Thomas (Arjean), Wendy (Aaron), Elizabeth (Aaron), Noah and Jonah; sister Marlene (Joe) and great-grandchildren Ayden, Brandon, Tucker, Chayse, Maddox, Callum, Mackenzie and Cohen.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Paul Sr., parents Otto and Helen Purje and brother Robert Purje (“Uncle Bob”).

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay or Kitty Care.
