It is with great sadness that the family of Ellen Rauha Swidzinski announce her passing on October 29, 2017 at the age of 87 years, in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Ellen was born on May 28, 1930 in Port Arthur. She lived in Ware Township throughout her childhood years. She worked for many years in senior homes and hospitals.
Ellen is survived by her beloved husband Joe, sister Selma, one niece and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Richard and mother Ida.
Funeral Services for Ellen will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Rev. Brian Falkenholt of Christ Lutheran Church. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service time. Interment to St. Andrew’s Cemetery will follow the reception.
