Elsie F. O'Brien

Mrs. Elsie F. O'Brien, age 99, passed away peacefully on September 15th, 2021, at Pioneer Ridge. Elsie was born on July 15th, 1922 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Before her marriage, she worked at the CP Railroads head office in Montreal. She spent her time caring for her family, and special time with her friends. She loved cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, swimming and camping. Elsie belonged to The Royal Canadian Legion Ladie's Auxiliary. She was also an active member of The Ladie's of the Royal Purple.

Elsie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Carolyn Scott (nee O'Brien), John O'Brien (Connie), Patrick O'Brien (Estelle), Christopher O'Brien (Bernadine); grandchildren Kim Santerre (Francis), Karrie Walker, Cameron O'Brien, Hilary Walters (Chris), Lisa Weaver (Don), Marcus O'Brien, Michael O'Brien (Christa), Liane O'Brien, Kyle O'Brien and Carson O'Brien; great-grandchildren Edrie, Nicole, Alex, Olivia, Connor, Railyn, Isaiah, Summer, Stella, Sky, Chase and Elizabeth.

Elsie was predeceased by her husband Jack O'Brien, her parents Fred and Caroline (Carrie) Smith and her siblings Harvey Smith (Laura), Ivan Smith (Anne) and Margaret Brown.

A celebration of life will be a private ceremony with immediate family.
