On Thursday, June 9, 2022, the angels came and took Emilee Rose to heaven. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour. Her dad and mom, Emile and Ovidia Turgeon, her sister Judy Patten and her brother-in-law Jim McKendrick were all waiting for her when she got to heaven – what a joyous homecoming.
She was the loving wife of George for almost 64 years. She was the most amazing mom to Jude (Ken Haas), Jean Ann (Bruce Hayashi), Janis (Todd Darrach) and John (Jessica). She was an epic grandma to Shaun, Tyler (Samantha), Isabel, Daisy, Isaac, Amy, Benjamin, Gabriel and Maggie. She was ‘mom’ to Ruth. She is survived by her sister Edna (Melvin Hogan), sister June McKendrick, brother Ken Turgeon (Lucy) and brother Paul Turgeon (Anita). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 Cumberland Street North, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be held the following day.
