It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, brother, grandson, cousin and friend, Evan, after an accident at camp on Saturday, September 1, 2018.

Evan was born September 28, 1987 on his grandmother Myrna Hinsperger's birthday.

He had a zest for life and a passion for travel. He always lived life to the fullest. He accomplished a lot in his 30 years and was always looking for ways to better himself. Evan was a business man and was very successful in introducing PropertyGuys.com to Thunder Bay. In 2011 he met his beautiful wife Michele and they remained totally devoted to each other until his untimely death last Saturday.

Evan is survived by his wife Michele, parents John and Jackie, older brother Michael, younger sister Andrea and Grandmother Myrna Hinsperger, mother-in-law Teri Sprovieri Groulx, father-in-law Terry (Nancy) Groulx and brother-in-law Paul Groulx. Also left to mourn his passing are his cousins Nathan (MaryBeth) Lawrence, Derek (Leah) Lawrence & Richard Lawrence, Jason (Sharon) Scott, Joe Hinsperger, Kevin Hinsperger, Kyra Hinsperger, Connor Hinsperger, Justin Scrimgeour, Nicole Beck and Christopher Beck. Evan is also survived by his aunts & uncles Fiona Lawrence, Graham (Sue) Scrimgeour, Debbie (Richard) Hinsperger, Joanne (Dave) Hinsperger-Scott and Donna Mear, Andrew (Lori) Lawrence, Robert (Lolita) Hinsperger, and Theresa (Jeff) Beck.

Predeceased by his papa Jerry Hinsperger, grandpa Ian Scrimgeour and granny Marie Scrimgeour.

A Memorial service for Evan will be held Friday, September 7 at 11:00 AM at Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 North Court Street.

In February, Evan & Michele adopted little Charlee, a puppy from Adopt a Mutt: Thunder Bay. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Adopt a Mutt: Thunder Bay or to a local charity of your choice. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.

Rest in peace Evan, "Ev", "Evie James", "Hinsy". You were with us for far too short a time and you will be in our hearts forever.
