Mrs. Fannell Fromm (nee Wilson), age 82 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2018, after a 4 month battle with glioblastoma.

Fannell pretty much did things her way and determined her obituary as below, which she wrote before she became quite ill.

I have had an ordinary life filled with extraordinary joy and beauty over my 82 winters. I have joined my husband Norman Fromm who I am proud to have built and lived a life with. I have joined my parents Pearl and Bruce Wilson and my brother Bruce Wilson. I leave behind many I love, and will guide and protect them from the stars above as I celebrate all the love they live. My American family and especially my beautiful sisters, Bernita Eternicka and Ethelyn Jenkins and my baby brother Jackson Wilson, know you are loved.

Lynnita-Jo (Jojo) Guillet (nee Fromm) and Nakita Pearl Guillet, you are my greatest joys and I will always be with you, for I am you and you are me. Thank you Phil Guillet for sharing your life with us. Ken Pennanen you are a loving and compassionate man and I am grateful for you in our lives. Kelsey and Erin, thank you for the gifts of you.

My joys were many; tutoring my students, gardens, berries, reading, puttering, luminosity, our Kenyan work and Christmas wreaths, my dogs and cooking for those I loved. These simple things were usually enough.

Special love sent to life-long friends, my Charlotte, Al Hunt, Saxbergs, Longs, Joan, Charmaine, Routhiers and others who have touched my life for briefer moments. Thank you and please take care of my girls. Andrew Cuglietta and family I know you are here for them.

My work here is done, I am grateful for each day lived. Take good care my friends and family and I will meet you in the heavens above.

In conclusion, mostly I tried to fill this world with a little more compassion and love, I did my best. Please do your best to make it easier for somebody else, shine brightly on earth so I can shine brighter in the heavens.

I am filled with gratitude for the life lived and for knowing you,
Star Woman signing out, until we meet again.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Fannell's Life will be held in late October with details to follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Underground Gym.
