Mrs. Fay Kosola (nee Lennox), age 83 years, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She is now reunited into the loving arms of her husband, Les.

Fay was born on January 27, 1935 in Fort William, the third of six siblings to Robert and Jean Lennox. Fay was raised in Hymers, where her family's business was the country store. Fay and Les were married in 1958 and together they raised two daughters. They enjoyed travelling, and went from coast to coast throughout Canada and the USA. Her family was her pride and joy. Spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren as well as her siblings and their families was so important to her. Fay's life was so full and meaningful because of her strong faith and connection to her church family. She was a long-time member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was involved with the Mary Martha Auxillary, and volunteering her time with meals on wheels and in the tuck shop at Grandview Lodge.

Fay is survived by daughters, Lori (Charles) Wright of Winnipeg, MB and Lisa (John) Angus of Fort Frances; grandchildren Nicole (Chris) Stouffer & Kristine (Stephen) Kolodrupski and Austin & Tanner Angus and great-grandchildren, Kaydance, Melody-Fay, Cooper, Alexander and Leighton. She is also survived by her sister Mary Kosola; brothers Sam (Barbara) Lennox, Robert (Genie) Lennox and brothers in-law Ray Kosola and Leo Nygard as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Leslie (2016); her parents Robert and Jean Lennox; sister Sharon Nygard and Louise (Ron) Hovey; brother in-law Jack Kosola; sister-in-law Eira Kosola.

Heartfelt thank you to Mom's neighbours for their years of friendship and compassion.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Fay Kosola will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00am in Calvary Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Tim Barone. Interment will follow in Hymers Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.

Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Fay to Calvary Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
